Rule Change Highlights for 2012: | | | • Beginning in Fall 2012, shinguards must have NOCSAE seal and height range permanently marked on front of shinguard.
• Beginning in Fall 2013, the home team shall wear solid white jerseys and solid white socks. The visiting team will wear dark jerseys and socks.
• Beginning in Fall 2012, goalkeepers will be required to have an unduplicated number on the front and back of their jerseys, that meets the requirements of the NFHS Soccer Rules Book. The number must be different than any other number used by other players on the team. The goalkeeper may have two numbers in the official scorebook; one designating their play as goalie and one designating their play in the field.
