Some important factors in our success this season have been:
Our senior leadership has been fantastic all season. It started right away in the off season and carried over throughout our whole year. With only nine seniors, we needed the underclassmen to step up with no experience and they have done so all year. With 18 of our 22 starters being underclassmen, we needed to lean on them also for leadership and they have done a great job.

Significant records, statistics, achievements of this team:
This group of seniors never had their own team because it is such a small group, they always had to play with the class above them. Now that they are seniors, they have their team and are doing a terrific job showing our young players how we go about things in the program.

Noteworthy data on individual players:
Noah Borgeson is our leader on the O and D line, started both ways for us last year on our championship team. Matthew bowers is another senior who started for us last year and is playing both ways for us also, one of the strongest kids to ever come through our program. Juniors Jake Groteboer and Pat Leary both played last year as well and are talented. They start both ways and are playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Other Interests and Achievements of team personnel:
We have a lot of kids who play multiple sports which I feel is a big part of our success. We are a junior dominated team, those kids are very skilled baseball players also, making it to state last spring and most of them played on that team as 10th graders. Our staff has been together for a long time and that helps a lot to have that consistency.
