 The challenge of Cathedral athletics is SPORTSMANSHIP in a Catholic educational system which extends the privilege of participation in athletics to the students. Administrators, coaches, players, parents and spectators make competition a showcase for Catholic education or turn it into a meaningless exercise in winning or losing.
The value of Cathedral athletics is a Catholic Christian discipline of SPIRIT, MIND and BODY which builds character and teaches gracious winning and losing. Cathedral athletics draws athletes, parents, school and the community together as a family by creating enthusiasm and excitement through competition.
