Some important factors in our success this season have been:
We have 9 senior players on our varsity roster this year. They are incredible leaders on and off the field and have set the bar high for themselves and their teammates. Our captains, Carly Jo, Addie and Makenzie began creating a culture of teamwork, positive attitudes and hard work the day our last season ended. Every player knows their role, whether they are a starter or a bench player. They all cheer for each other and the positive energy from our bench has played a critical role in our team's success. The team motto this year has been UNSTOPPABLE TOGETHER and they have been dedicated to that all season!

Significant records, statistics, achievements of this team:
The Lady Knights record is 14-1-3, the Knights have not lost a game since the second game of the season when they lost 1-0 to #6 ranked Eastridge. The Knights have gave up only 11 goals, averaging less than a goal a game while scoring an average of 3.7 goals a game. The Knights are Mississippi 8 conference champs and also earned Academic All-Conference honors.

Noteworthy data on individual players:
Makenzie Langdok has been a starter on varsity since 7th grade. In her six years she has racked up some incredible stats: she has won 4 conference championships, played in 6 section finals, participated in 2 state tournaments, has scored 81 career goals and had 47 career assists, she has been All-Conference 5 years and second team All-State 2 years. She is a 2016 Ms. Soccer finalist and she is committed to the U-MN Gophers next fall. Tori Jensen is a five-year varsity veteran. She has been an integral part of the Knights success in the last five seasons. She is a 4-time All-Conference player. She has scored 32 career goals and had 35 assists. She is headed to Concordia St. Paul next fall. Our back line has been incredibly tough this season. They have shut down team after team and played a huge role in our teamsí extremely low goals-against average.

Other Interests and Achievements of team personnel:
We have 12 multi-sport athletes on our team this season.
