Jacob is a selfless player who places the needs of others, including the team, above himself. He possesses relentless positive energy despite any circumstance. Jacob is great on the bus after a tough loss and is someone who will make any locker room better.

Ella was diagnosed with a shoulder injury during the summer that required her to have a season-ending surgery. She has never complained about missing her senior season. She is always the first person off the bench when something great happens, shouting and jumping around, just as excited as if she was wearing a jersey. Her positivity radiates across the bench and in our huddles.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 1
Luke sets the tone for our offense and defense and leads by example in the community. He shows his teammates how to lead, including interacting with and coaching youth football players. Luke leads his "platoon" group in off-the-field life/skills development, shows up and leads at community events, and understands his role in representing himself, his team and his school in the classroom, on social media, and on the field.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 35
Charlotte has led Sacred Heart drama students all year in forming a drama club. She organized group travel to watch professional performances at the Ordway and Chanhassen Dinner Theater; she aided the funding of this trip by writing a grant from the Sisters of Mount St. Benedict, which made it feasible for all to attend. Charlotte is a great role model and excellent student.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 34
Hannah is the first person at practice, she stays focused, and only leaves when she is absolutely done. Before and after her turn, she watches others and encourages her teammates. She has great insight to help others and her smiles make everyone feel that they are important to our team.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 33
Megan and Mairin have led The Robettes robotics team in a return to in-person competitions through outstanding leadership, technical knowledge and care for their teammates. They embody the FIRST core values and principles, along with the team core values of Compassion, Integrity, Curiosity, Perseverance and Confidence. At the North Star Regional, they were named FIRST Dean’s List Finalists, only the third time since the award was created in 2010 that it has gone to two students from the same team in MN.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 32
Leah’s skills in the areas of humor and voice has provided her a leg up both in competition and with teammates. Leah volunteered to lead weekly “Character Pop Workshops” for teammates in hopes of improving skills. Leah often held captain’s practices and is an all-around valuable teammate and captain.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 31
Suad never thinks twice about how she could be helping others. She’s the kind of person who leads by pushing others above herself. With community at her center, kindness at her core, and her own impressive competitive record, she is the embodiment of the Most Valuable Teammate award.
Most Valuable Teammate Week 30
A speech team member since eighth grade, Bryce is a two-time entrant at state as well as nationals. He has been a team captain for two years, raising the standards of what a good speech team can be by being quick to offer assistance to teammates. He maintains a 4.14 GPA while working and taking classes at our local university. Bryce's work ethic is only matched by his time and talent.

Haley is very deserving of MSHSL Most Valuable Teammate honors! As captain of the BHS speech team, she leads by example and always puts team needs and success ahead of her own! Haley is respectful and compassionate to her teammates at all times. Haley Patel is a jewel!
