My high school journey
- I really enjoy being busy. I participate in soccer, wrestling, softball, trap shooting, flag football, FFA, 4-H, Panther Crew. And if that isn't enough, I play in four different bands. It is great to be involved in high school activities!
Favorite high school memories
- One year when I qualified for the wrestling state tournament, we stayed in a nun hotel. We flipped all the pictures so we would not be watched all night. Also, when we went to the state tournament in soccer, and it was an absolute downpour and we spent the weather delay playing telephone for almost an hour. I was also interviewed by the CBS Morning News crew when they were at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul to do a story on the incredible participation in girls wrestling. I also have great memories from softball.
Why I enjoy being involved with high school activities
- I love trying new things. With that in mind, I recently joined the flag football team. It teaches me a new activity and I can stay in shape. The great thing about participation in high school activities is that you acquire many friendships that will last a lifetime.
