Coaches or parents calling the MSHSL on student matters, including eligibility, will be directed to their school’s administration.  MSHSL staff work directly with member schools regarding student situations, including eligibility, and bylaw or policy questions. The appropriate method of communication on student situations or questions related to your school’s programs is through your activities administrator or building principal. Activities administrators should gather all information necessary on the questions and then call or email the MSHSL. Please follow this efficient path of communication for questions related to students and programs.

The MSHSL responds to email correspondence in the order in which it and other traditional forms of communication (mail, telephone, etc.) are received. In general, we will respond to your email correspondence through email, however, at times other methods may be employed. The MSHSL will not respond to an email transmission that does not include the full name, school affiliation, mailing address and telephone number of the sending party.
