Tournament Card Ordering Instructions 

Tournament Cards allow access to most section and state contests/games.  These cards are not good for/exclude: Class AA Boys Hockey and Swimming and Diving. Select Section contests may be excluded at the Section's discretion. The card provides admission for one person, the official who purchased the card.

The tournament card can ONLY be ordered by MSHSL Officials who have completed a paid registration.  Orders by anyone else will be canceled. 

Orders will be processed and sent to the printer on the first of each month (September 2024-May 2025).  Processed means:  information is sent to our vendor, they print the cards and then return them to us for mailing to officials (this is typically a three-week process).  For example, if you order on the 15th of the month, it will be processed (sent to our vendor, etc.) on the first of the following month.  

For your order to be placed you must complete Steps 1 and 2 below. 

Ordering Tournament Cards is a two-step process.   

Step 1-

Upload a digital headshot photo following the criteria below and the naming format. 

  • Your photo must be in a .jpg format.  

  • If shot with a digital camera, make sure the camera is set to provide you with the highest resolution (file size) possible. 

  • If scanned from a print, the resolution of the scanner should be set to 300 dpi. 

  • The photo must be in color and should be composed so that at a minimum it shows the top of the head to at least the lowest point of the shoulders. 

  • The background should be plain/neutral, preferably white or light-colored. 

  • Avoid shadows on both the face and on the background.  

  • The perfect size is 1 inch wide by 1-1/3 inches deep. Any size between that and up to wallet-size is preferred. However, any size photo is acceptable. 

  • Name your photo file using this format: MSHSLOfficial_Last_First

  • (Example:  MSHSLOfficial_Johnson_Tony_Bemidji.jpg)

  • in the Message Field indicate your role:

Step 2- (Do NOT do this step until you have submitted your photo.) Order and pay for your card using the link below.

Ordering is through the MSHSL Online store via Shopify. 

  • If you have ordered Officials Supplies before, you have an account to use. If have not previously ordered, please create a Shopify account.
  • The cost of each card is $30 + $5 Shipping per card. 

You will receive an email confirmation and receipt after placing your order.
