No. 2 Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa earned a spot in the championship round following a 55-53 victory over No. 3 New Life Academy on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus.

Top-seeded Hayfield took another step toward a successful state title defense with a 72-61 victory over No. 5 Cherry in the first Class A semifinal at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus.

No. 3 Wayzata used an overwhelming second-half surge to erase a deficit and race to a 59-48 victory over unseeded Cretin-Derham Hall in the Class AAAA semifinals on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Williams Arena.
