Litchfield grad Stuart Groskreutz earns accolades as sports journalist

After almost three decades as a newspaper reporter, Stuart Groskreutz knows the ins and outs of interviews pretty well. And it’s precisely because of that long career of asking questions and telling stories — primarily about high school athletes — that Groskreutz found himself on the other side of the reporter’s notebook, if you will.
The Litchfield native recently received the MSHSL’s 2024 Outstanding Media Service Award and a citation award for meritorious service as he was inducted into the Minnesota Football Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame.
