Eastview and Chanhassen win three gold medals apiece

Eastview of Apple Valley and Chanhassen claimed three gold medals apiece this year. Apple Valley followed with two.
The 2021 champions are: Thor Reimann of Eastview in Creative Expression; Liv Schaefer of Chanhassen in Discussion; Colin Roberts and Alice Hovendon of Eagan in Duo Interpretation; Olivia Beach of Eastview in Extemporaneous Reading; Alli Hering of Eastview in Extemporaneous Speaking; Jomi Omoya of Roseville Area in Great Speeches; Sophie Todaro of Apple Valley in Humorous Interpretation; Lauren Manna of Chanhassen in Informative Speaking; Lydia Voss of Apple Valley in Original Oratory; Harrison Tim of Moorhead in Serious Interpretation of Drama; Sydney Turner of Chaska in Serious Interpretation of Poetry; Trevyn Pannhoff of Chanhassen in Serious Interpretation of Prose; and Ella Erdahl of Eastview in Storytelling.
Four of this year’s champions earned their second medals overall. Reimann won his second in Creative Expression and Beach claimed her second in Extemporaneous Reading. Turner earned her second in Serious Interpretation of Poetry and Erdahl won her second in Storytelling.
