St. Cloud's Schaefer wins three individual events on way to Class AA all-around title

In the Class AA individual competition, Taylar Schaefer of St. Cloud won her first all-around crown with a score of 38.2000. Schaefer also won the vault (9.7250), balance beam (9.7000) and floor exercise (9.4750) this year. The all-around victory was an improvement for Schaefer, who placed sixth in 2021. Her score last year was 37.3500.
Ava Bruegger of New Prague was second in the all-around at 37.3750 and Hannah Maccarone was third with a score of 37.4000.
Grace Squires of White Bear Lake Area emerged as the champion on the uneven bars with a final tally of 9.6625.
