Wyatt Boynton

Kasson-Mantorville High School – Junior

Wyatt has been a big part of the Kasson-Mantorville wrestling program as our student manager for three years. He brings his smile and energy into the wrestling room every day. Wyatt comes to every practice and meet and is always looking for ways to contribute to the team. With his commitment and dedication to his team, Wyatt is our Most Valuable Teammate.

Julia had her senior season come to an abrupt end just as it was getting started. After suffering a torn ACL in the first half of the first home soccer game, she has taken on a new role as a writer for JordanActivities.org. She provides a much-needed student voice, recognizing athletes, coaches and fine artists with her weekly "Love Maroon Live Gold" column on JordanActivities.org.

Hailey is a perfect example of what hard work and determination look like. She balances being a member of the varsity jazz, varsity high kick and basketball teams, attending two practices a day along with maintaining a 3.95 grade-point average. She comes to practice with the best attitude and makes everyone feel included. Hailey is an amazing teammate who excels in everything she does!

Hannah Nord

Red Lake Falls High School – Senior

Hannah shows great leadership qualities in band as well as in her everyday life. Her positive attitude and sunny personality are infectious to those around her, which makes her a great role model for her peers as well as all of the youth in our community. She commits 150% to all of her activities whether it's dance, band, youth group or any other activity she partakes in. She is a great asset to our school and to our community making her a great candidate for the Most Valuable Teammate Award.

Makana Schroeder

Byron High School – Sophomore

In spite of being sidelined due to an offseason injury, Makana has made the most of her 2020-21 varsity basketball season by supporting and helping her teammates and coaches. Whether she is assisting coaches with drills or offering encouragement and support from the bench, Makana continues to maintain a positive attitude and remains an active member of her team.

Willie has been a proven team leader. He shows up early and stays late at practice and displays leadership during games. He helps mentor the younger guys and is a true student-athlete as a straight A student. He is a great representation of what being a proud Northsider means.

Trent is a natural leader! He leads by example and improves upon himself and his craft every day. His enthusiasm and love for others is contagious to everyone around him, making all who know him better for it. His competitive nature and work ethic as a three-sport varsity athlete and captain is also what makes him a role model to his teammates and youngsters in our community!

Braiziah Dixon

Woodbury High School – Junior

Braiziah was a returning varsity player and made large strides between her sophomore and junior seasons. She showed leadership on and off the court, being a vocal leader in huddles and many times selflessly working with teammates to help them and the team get better. This earned her the respect of her teammates and makes her deserving of this award.

Jack Wilmes

New Prague High School – Senior

Jack models what is means to be a leader on and off the ice. As the captain of the New Prague High School hockey team, Jack is someone that his teammates and coaches rely on regularly, and he never disappoints. He is an inspiration to all of New Prague. Jack is a positive role model who will do whatever it takes to help his teammates succeed.

Aleen Jude

Minnetonka High School – Sophomore

Aleen has supported her teammates through encouragement, being reliable, and expanding her knowledge to help the team. Despite a completely virtual season, Aleen has shown commitment by showing up to every practice, including optional varsity practice, and being prepared to discuss relevant research topics. She can be counted on to do extra research for the team and also share her findings so all teammates benefit.
