One team champion and two defending individual champions are sitting on top of the standings at the end of the first day of the 2023 Golf State Tournament.

Four girls’ lacrosse quarterfinals were played at White Bear Lake Area High School on Tuesday June 13 and the semifinal field is set for Thursday, June 15. No. 3 Stillwater Area will take on No. 2 Edina and No. 5 Benilde-St. Margaret’s will face off against top-seeded Lakeville South.

The semifinal field has been set for the 2023 State Boys Lacrosse Tournament. No. 3 Shakopee will face No. 2 Lakeville North and No. 4 Prior Lake will match up against No. 1 Benilde-St. Margaret’s.

The two-day Minnesota State High School League Boys and Girls Golf State Tournaments get underway at three courses on Tuesday, June 13 with the final round on Wednesday.

The three-day Minnesota State High School League Baseball State Tournament gets underway on Tuesday, June 13 at four sites. Semifinal winners in each of the four enrollment classes will play for state championships on Friday at CHS Field in St. Paul.

Sixteen lacrosse teams take to the fields at White Bear Lake Area High School and Stillwater Area High School on June 13, 15 and 17 in a quest for championships during the Minnesota State High School League’s Boys and Girls Lacrosse State Tournament.

Minnetonka took the Class AAA Team Girls Track and Field championship, while Rosemount was this year's boys team champion.

The top three teams in the Class AA Boys Track and Field State Championship finished within two and a half points of each other. Waseca scored 39 points to claim the championship; their score topped Worthington/s 38 and Stewartville’s 36.5.  

In the girls competition, Monticello scored 64 points to earn the championship while Rocori scored 62 and Mankato East had 57.5.

Edgerton/SW MN Christian became the second No. 5 seed of the League's Softball State Tournament to leave with a championship following a 10-5 victory over Badger/Greenbush-Middle River

Hutchinson junior Isabelle Schmitz was the Class AA runner-up in the fall during the Minnesota State High School League’s Cross Country State Meet. With the waning days of her junior year, she climbed the next step on the awards podium with a championship in the 3,200-meter race on Friday, June 9 during the Class AA portion of the League’s Track and Field State Meet at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
