Despite an injury that ended his football season, A.J. has been at every hockey practice, working on rehabilitation and supporting his teammates from the sideline. A.J.’s resilience and dedication have served as inspiration to the entire team, demonstrating the true meaning of commitment and sportsmanship.

Kameron suffered a knee injury late in the football season, which ended his football and basketball seasons and likely baseball, as well. But he has continued to show his true character as he shows up to basketball practice every day to support his team. The maturity Kameron has shown through something very difficult has not gone unnoticed by his coaches, teammates and school community.

Becca has been a leader on the dance team since she joined in eighth grade. She is always pushing the other girls and supporting them when they are struggling. Becca never lets a teammate say “I can't do it;” she is always working with them to figure out the skill or choreography until they have it down.

Coaches describe Ethan with the term Relentless Commitment. He is selfless and consistently makes decisions on what is best for his team and his teammates. He is a model of what we expect and hope for in our student-athletes.

As a team captain, Maddie consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership and teamwork on and off the court. She leads by example, encouraging her teammates to work hard, support one another, and stay focused on shared goals. Her dedication and ability to bring the team together in challenging moments embody the true spirit of this award. Whether mentoring younger players or motivating her peers during critical games, Maddie exemplifies what it means to be a great teammate.

Destin has become an outstanding leader throughout the course of his high school career. He is a team captain and officer in FFA and 4H. He is a selfless teammate, taking on whatever role is needed to make the team stronger. His discipline and hard work has paid off not only through his accomplishments on the field and mat, but also among his teammates and classmates. He shows leadership through example and tenacity.

Cole is an outstanding athlete and a great person. He always has a smile on his face and always puts his teammates first. He is a person you can converse with at length and he always appreciates and acknowledges his teachers.

Logan Yannarelly
Park High School – Senior
Logan has been with the South Washington County Thunderbolts since his seventh-grade year. His experience and leadership make him a great teammate. Logan is a great athlete who inspires others to do their best while having fun playing the game. He is a member of the National Honor Society and plays the violin for the district orchestra. Logan’s positive attitude towards life makes him a valuable teammate.


Most Valuable Teammate Week 19
Kaylean is a big supporter of her teammates and school. She arrives early for each practice and game to help others get ready and does not leave until everyone has been picked up. During games, she is focused on both winning and how her team is feeling, and afterward she goes out of her way to speak to every player and coach on the other team to tell them they did well.

Her dedication to recognizing the potential in others is inspiring.
