Dancers take center stage at Target Center

Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd, Sartell and Eastview return to defend their titles in both the Jazz and High Kick divisions. The Sartell Sabres, who won in Class AA last year and will compete in Class AAA this year, are looking for their sixth consecutive High Kick crown.

Alpine skiers are first on the slopes this week when the Minnesota State High School High School League holds the first of two annual meets on Feb. 16 at Giants Ridge near Biwabik. More than 200 participants in both boys and girls will chase team and individual championships.

Three Class A productions earned "starred performance" ratings at the Class A One Act Play State Festival. Belle Plaine received its 17th "star" for its rendition of Mill Girls. Sauk Centre and Dilworth-Gyndon-Felton also earned coveted "starred performance" ratings.

2022 Triple "A" Award Finalists

Congratulations to this year's Triple ‘A’ Award finalists.  They will be recognized at a banquet in March and during the Boys State Basketball Tournament.

The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

Three Class AA productions earn ‘starred performance’ ratings

Three Class AA productions earned "starred performance" ratings at the Class AA One Act Play State Festival. Cambridge-Isanti earned its first "star" in eight appearances with its production of Aunt Leaf. Lakeville South and Alexandria Area also received "starred performances" ratings.
