Top-seeded Becker forged its way into the Class AAA championship game for the fourth consecutive season following a 67-63 victory over Mankato East in the first Class AAA semifinal of the Minnesota State High School League’s Girls Basketball State Tournament on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus.

Journeys to dreams of a state championship began in earnest on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, when three of the four enrollment classes began play in the Minnesota State High School League’s Girls Basketball State Tournaments. Games were played on the University of Minnesota campus at Williams Arena and the adjacent Maturi Pavilion.

The girls basketball team from St. Paul Como Park made history, winning a game at the state tournament for the first time.
